Coco-Glucoside is commonly used in gentle, sulfate free formulations for products such as facial cleansers, body washes, baby shampoos and hand soaps. Usage levels typically range from 3–30% depending on the desired level of cleansing and foaming.

Coco Glucoside is also compatible with a wide range of other surfactants and can be thickened with natural gums or salt-based thickeners.

It is generally incorporated to the water phase of formulation and should be incorporated at room temperature or slightly warmed to maintain clarity and stability.
